Ann Rule RULES....If you love true crime this one keeps you at the edge of your seat.
VERY DEPRESSING STORY. I DON'T KNOW WHY I EVEN FINISHED LISTENING. IT'S LIKE A BAD MOVIE, YOU HATE IT, BUT FOR SOME REASON JUST NEED TO WATCH IT UNTIL THE END. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY ONE UNLESS THEY WANT TO FEEL VERY DEPRESSED.
Interesting Story. Hard to believe that this is true.
For me, Rule has set an incredibly high standard, and quite frankly, this one doesn't measure up. I think there just wasn't enough drama or mystery in the crime itself. Maybe not, but to me it wasn't as good as her others for some reason. I wasn't crazy about the narrator either, though it would have been tolerable if I'd found more interest in the book. It won't keep me from reading Rule again, but this one isn't GREAT!
As always, Ann Rule does a great job with true crime stories. Worth listening to.
