Summary
Stephanie Plum, the beloved bounty hunter with attitude returns in this irresistible adventure from Janet Evanovich, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Dirty Thirty and “most popular mystery writer alive” (The New York Times).

Stephanie is having a bad hair day—for the whole month of January. She’s looking for Mo Bedemier, Trenton’s most beloved citizen, who was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and skipped bail. To help her, she’s got Lula, a former hooker turned file clerk. Lula’s itching to lock up a crook in the trunk of her car. And Morelli, the cop with the slow-burning smile, is acting polite even after Stephanie finds more bodies than the Trenton PD has seen in years. That’s a bad sign for sure.

Featuring a feisty and funny heroine who “comes roaring in like a blast of very fresh air” (The Washington Post), Three to Get Deadly is fast-paced and entertaining suspense at its finest.

Omg!! This voice reading the book is HORRIBLE! The fist two books of this series had a great narrator. And it would be nice to the rest of the books in this series.

I agree I like the unabridged books better, love the Stephanie Plum series, I hope they post more of her books. However I was not fond of the narrator voice for some reason.

That Stephanie Plum is a pip! While this is the abridged version and therefore everything seems a bit rushed, I find the unabridged versions of the Plum books to drag a bit with extra characters thrown in. The narrator (Lori Petty) is perfect, and while not what I physically imagine Steph to look like, the attitude is perfect.

I tried to listen to the unabridged version but I couldn't stand the narrator. I can't go back after listening to Lori Petti. Growing up in the Trenton/Philly area, Lori sounds like one of us. Very enjoyable read.

I love the Stephanie Plum books. This is about the 6th one I have read. You look for certain things in her books. The car to blow up, Ranger to the rescue, LuLu to do some funny things, Joe to the loving, and Grandma Maser. (Excuse me if I spell the names wrong I have never "read" her books to see the proper spelling.) This book only left out Grandma Maser. Though I had to wait until the end for everything to happen. I don't want to say more than that but it is a good "read". Makes my travel to work a joy.

The book was OK but in 15 years of listening to books on tape, the narrator was the worst I have ever heard. I will never select another book where she is listed. Her voice, lack of ability to modify voices and just lack of ability in general was torture.

I couldn't get finish only because of the reader. Her voice drove me crazy. The reason I started with the 3rd was because the first two were not available.
