Summary
LETTERS OF LOVE
The letters Kyla sent to her husband, Sergeant Richard Stroud, stationed a world away, spoke of a love that stretched across the ocean and held the young couple together. But when tragedy ended their marriage too soon, Kyla was left a widow with a newborn son. And Richard left behind only a metal box filled with his wife's declarations of love.
Trevor Rule had been Richard's best friend. Returning home from military duty, he carried with him the letters Kyla had sent. And with each one he read, he fell more in love with the gentle, passionate woman who had penned them. Now he needs to convince Kyla of his feelings, and that they both have the right to be happy, to move past the tragedy of Richard's death.
But Trevor is harboring a secret, one with the power to destroy the love he is trying so hard to protect.

I found the book to be very romantic. I could not put it down. There was no huge 'mystery' plot twist, just a good love story.

This was a good book. Started out slow, but the last 3 cds were the best of the book

This book was one complete bore. Come on folks - we all like a good story and this was absolutely nothing ! If a movie was made from this book I think the two main characters should be played by Festas and Miss Kiddie !

I could not finish this novel for the same reason that I don't tune in for the soap opera on the local television. I found the story line to be predictable from the start and very much superficial. This will teach me to read the description before reading.

Not one of my favorite Sandra Brown novels. It was a sweet love story, but not much of a plot otherwise. Maybe the unabridged version would have been better.

Very Disappointing. Where is the mystery. Doesn't hold up to her earlier books

I am usually a fan of Sandra Brown but I found this novel to be totally unbelievable. Instead of being a romantic leading man, the main male character commits unforgivable deception in order to "get the girl". I cannot believe the story could have ended so happily in real life.

This was a good romance novel. If you enjoy romance novels, this was a really good one to read. The only thing about it, was it came in two different mailings. You had to wait until your next shipment came in to find out about the end.

This was my first rental book of Sandra Brown. I am a long-term fan of hers with regular books. I thought this story was kind of trite. No that great a love story.

This book was seductively enjoyable, especially for those who like to fantasize about romance. Knowing this was a purely fictional romance book, I was surprised how captured I became listening to the story. It made my long commute home seem like minutes.

A good story. You can feel for the characters. I am usually disappointed, on at least some level, at abridged versions, but this one still did a great job developing the characters and the history (makes me curious as to what was actually left out). The "impossible to get" role Kyla plays gets annoying at times, and her lack of consideration will get on your nerves because it gets drawn out and tedious, but overall, very entertaining. An easy listen.

While the plot idea was interesting, this book was trite and excessively romanticized. It ran perilously close to being a bad romance novel. I was very disappointed.

At the start of this book I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. I came to love Trevor and Kyla as well. What a great story. Couldn't stop listening from cd to cd. Keep them coming.

Good summer laying on the beach book but also a good listen. Very predictable and very Sandra Brown. All in all I enjoyed it.
