Unabridged Audiobook
Todd Barry’s prose soars higher than a private airplane (about 2,000 feet). The book is insightful and profound, funny and poignant. The chapters are short and the narrative is bald (much like the eponymous Barry) but it is one of my favourite audiobooks of its kind. Not that it’s a competition but it wipes the floor with John Cleese’s, David Cross’ and is likely better than Pete Holmes forthcoming book. Well done, Todd. Well done.
