Unabridged Audiobook
If an author is going to write a book, they should spend some time in the area that they are writing about and do some research. I have lived in Maine my entire life and I can tell you that there are so many inconsistencies in this book that it was annoying. First of all, deer hunting season is in the fall, not June. There are not any wild wolves in Maine but there are Eastern Coyotes. The way that the author portrays the people of Northern Maine is demeaning and she has obviously not hiked or done anything at all in Northern Maine because she has no idea what the landscape or geography is like. The girls in the story are a bunch of superficial brats who, while nearing middle age, act like a bunch of 16 year olds. The authors vocabulary seems to be as severely limited as the characters in the book partly because she has them emphasizing everything with an F bomb.
