Unabridged Audiobook
I really did enjoy this book but I feel the first 2 book of the Beartown series was way much better!! The narrator was excellent!! It’s very long, over 21 hours of listening time!!!
One of the best series you could ever read.
"Winners" is Fredrik Backman's last book in his 3 part series about the enduring and wonderful small town rivaling hockey teams, their families and communities set in Sweden. We have grown to love and cheer these characters on since book # 1! I highly recommend this book series! Backman is one of my favorite authors who excells at developing believable and interesting characters. He writes the kind of books that make you feel sad when you finish reading them because you are going to miss all of the people that you met and have spent time with throughout the book. The narrator is very good as well!
This book was like a series of waves, some that were so fierce with pain and some that glided in with love and laughter. . I laughed, and I cried, and I felt like the characters were in the room with me. The narrator made me feel like she was sitting next to me telling me the story while we reminisced over coffee. if you’ve ever wanted a book that tears at your heart And makes you remember your own friends and childhood. This is it. This will be one of my favorite books of all time.
Backman weaves a fascinating story.
This is the last in the trilogy, and it brings everything you learn in the first two together for the final crescendo. It feels like the author has lived all of these characters, he seems to really KNOW them, and fleshes them out so well we do too by the time it’s all over.
The perspectives of this story were very unique. I don’t usually enjoy sports books, but this one really was more about the people
My heart. I loved this so much
Fredrick Backman amazing as usual.
Loved it!! Loved the narration, story, characters, everything. Each book picks up exactly where the last one left off. It gets better and better. Absolutely Amazing
In a make believe world, reality is shown in other ways, bravo!
What a great book! I thoroughly enjoyed the way the story unfolded and the uniqueness of the characters. The meaning of the story was driven home by events that forever shaped the lives of the people who lived in the two towns. One of my favorite books of all time.
I was not aware this was part of a series but really enjoyed it!
