It gives off hunger games in a teen-type way. Wasn’t impressive. Author used the same vocabulary over and over which I found annoying. With that said, it kept my interest mildly.

Loved this read! If you love fantasy, you will love this book. The narrators were perfect. Could not have picked a better male narrator for Kai!

I made it half way through. The story is giving major Hunger Games and Fourth Wing vibes. As an English teacher, it feels like borderline plagiarism.

I love it. Yes it’s like hunger games but with a power twist. something you can get emotionally into.

I loved this book so much. No spice, but lots of longing. So well written. I love that the characters have different voices when in their own POV. The way they speak, the words they use, what they notice, if really discerns them as two different people. I wish the audio was done a bit differently, but it wasn’t big deal

Pretty damn good book!

I could not put this book down. It made me cry more times then I would like to admit and I just couldn't get enough. When I would put the book down, I couldn't stop thinking about it, and when I read I just couldn't stop. Books like this make me love reading.
