Intense thriller. If one lives near St. Louis MO, even in IL, the mall should be familiar. I was in my 20’s when it was built. It was the first mall I knew of in that area where I could go from store to store without going outside. For the dilapidation of this mall described in this book is meaningful to me. It has recently been torn down.

Great read! I had trouble following some of the characters, but the history and the theme of the book was fascinating.
