Unabridged Audiobook
Extremely well researched. Amazing.
The story of the sinking was interesting. But the author goes WAY off into the weeds on irrelevant tangents. A 2 hour book crammed into 12 hours.
Greatly appreciated Gales of November both for the insight it gave into this tragic shipping event as well as for how it honored the memory of the lost sailors. I was a child of 12 when the Edmund Fitzgerald sank and all I’ve ever known of the ship and its sinking was what Gordon Lightfoot included in his hit song. This book finally tells the entire Fitz story and it’s lasting legacy. IMO, the book was very well researched, written and narrated. That haunting Gordon Lightfoot song resonates even more now.
