This book would have been good 100 years ago. It was not entertaining for today’s world. Maybe for readers / listeners over 80

Great to read was intriguing right to the end.

Bought this book by accident but it was good enough that I kept on listening. Characters tended to ask each other dumb questions to make be the plot along but I was reasonably interesting in how things would turn out. The narrator was good, but audio quality was kind of dated.

Just started reading Victoria Thompson books and found them addictive, great read!
